Abstract
Objective It is to observe the clinical curative effect of Alprostadil (Kaishi) on acute cerebral infarction. Methods Eighty-two patients with acute cerebra infarction were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. Forty-two patients in Kaishi group were given Alprostadil 10 μg intravenous drip once a day for 15 days. Forty patients in root of red-rooted salvia (Danshen) group were given Danshen 20 mL intravenous drop once a day for 15 days. Results The neurological function deficit scors (NFDSs) and total effective rate in Kaishi group after treatment were 8±7 and 93%. Those in Danshen group were 11±6 and 73%. Those before and after treatmnent and between the two groups were significant difference. Conclusion Kaishi is a more effective drug in treating acute cerebral infarction.
