Abstract

For solving thermal load problems of the diesel engine cylinder liner,geometric models of the cylinder liner are set up,in allusion to the temperature field for the cylinder liner of 2105 diesel engine. Mathematical models of the cylinder liner are studied and the impact of the cylinder liner of temperature distribution of boundary conditions is analyzed. The temperature field for the cylinder liner of 2105 diesel engine is calculated by using the program of Fluent. Isotherm is the distribution of axial symmetry. The temperature distribution descends top-down gradually. The highest temperature is in the top of liner and the lowest temperature is in the side of the cooling water. Upper temperature difference along the axial direction is larger. Lower temperature difference is relatively less. The highest temperature throughout the cylinder liner is at the top of the inside. From the results,the temperature distribution in the cylinder liner is reasonable,and the thermal load isn't high,the maximum temperature is about 511 K.
