Abstract

Flavonoids from Houttuynia cordata Thunb leaves were prepared according to a L9(34) orthogonal test plan. The relationship between extracting conditions and yield of flavonoids extracted from Houttuynia cordata Thunb was investigated. Result: the processing conditions affected the yield, and that the effect of each condition decreased in the following order: extracting time, with power of extraction, extracting ethanol concentration and in proportion of extracting solvents.
