Abstract

On the basis of the development of distribution automation, the prospect of distribution automation system technology is forecasted; The paper introduced the main contents and technical features of IEC 61850 standard, emphatically analyzed the application of IEC 61850 standard in the feeder automation communication system, and the paper discussed the effect of the standard in the whole distribution automation system as well.
