Abstract Distribution automation system is an important means to improve the reliability and quality of power supply, expand power supply capacity, and realize efficient and economic operation of distribution network. However, the existing problems are: low online rate of distribution terminal, low data utilization rate, low success rate of remote control of distribution automation system, and great difficulty in operation and maintenance. This paper studies and develops a hardware development platform of distribution terminal based on high-speed bus interaction technology of distribution terminal. The software development platform based on IEC61850 information model and modeling technology can improve the level of distribution automation and application effect.
