On the Introduction and Translation of Chinese American Literature in China

The introduction and translation of Chinese American literature in Mainland China started from the 1980s,when only a few of writers and works were introduced and translated.In the 1990s,there was a dramatic rise of the number of translated works of Chinese American literature,while the real climax came in the new century.However,there are some problems in the translations of Chinese American literature:the limited genre of the works translated;too many translated works of the same writers and their works;and the confusion in the translation of the names of the Chinese American writers.
