Abstract

[Objective]To understand the protection of interventional radiation, and provide evidence for protecting physical health of interventional radiological employees,Standardizing the development of interventional radiology and developing appropriate protective measures.[Methods] Using on-site monitoring methods, under simulation of interventional radiology operation conditions, dose of interventional radiological operators were determined.[Results]A total of 13 X-ray machines in 11 hospitals were determined. The highest radiated doses in left hand and chest of operators were 980 μGy/h and 735.3 μGy/h.Working beside on-bed X-ray tube, were discovered to receive more radiation than those working beside under-bed X-ray tube.[Conclusion] It is necessary to improve the management for interventional radiological operators, and raise their awareness of self-protection and try to reduce the radiation dose and optimize the protection.
