Abstract
Objective To analyze the status of drug resistance in 183 cases of the sputum culture-positive strains isolated in our institute. Methods The proportional method was used in bacteria identification and drug sensitivity tests of 183 strains. Results 174 strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis were isolated,and the total drug resistance rate to 4 first-line anti tuberculosis drugs( INH,RFP,EMB,SM) was 25. 3% and their multi drug resistant rate was 8. 0%. It showed the highest resistance to SM,followed by INH,EMB and RFP. Conclusion The drug resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in Shanxi province is still serious.
