Probe into the Qualities and Skill Structure of the Research-type Subject Librarians

This paper introduces the origins and development situation of the subject librarians, and starting from the fasibility and necessity of establishing the subject librarian system in university library, expounds the responsibility of the subject librarians and the qualities that the subject librarians should possess, and puts forward some knowledge skills that the subject librarians shouls possess in the course of optimizing the service of university library.
