A Survey and Analysis on the Needs of General Practice Education in Clinical and Nursing Students

Abstract

Objective To knowthe needs of General Practice Education (GPE) in Clinical and Nursing students in a Medical College.Methods We adopted the special questionnaire to investigate 504 Clinical and Nursing students in Kunming Medical University.Results 67.8% of students believed that General Practice Education was important; 56.2% of students considered that it was common to accept GPE for enhancing self- ability;86.1% of students agreed to develop the training direction of General Practice in medical college. Conclusion Medical students agree with carring out General Practice Education,but it is necessary to regulate and improve the related teaching work of General Practice education.
