An Analysis of HVE English Major Freshmen's Phonetic Problems Based on a Phonetic Test——Take Students of Wenshan Teachers' College as an Example

As a basis of foreign language learning,phonetic study plays a decisive role in developing language proficiency.By administering a phonetic test to the English major freshmen of Wenshan Teachers' College,this paper analyzes their problems in phonetic learning and proposes some suggestions on phonetic teaching in higher vocational education.
