Abstract

Interpersonal Psychotherapy for depressed adolescents(IPT-A)is a method used in the treatment of depressed adolescents on the basis of Interpersonal Psychotherapy(IPT).With more than 20 years of development,IPT-A has formed an integrated system including theoretical basis,applicable standards,therapeutic process,treatment strategies and positive effectiveness.The efficacy of IPT-A has been tested by empirical studies.IPT-A has become one of the effective therapies for depressed adolescents.
