Abstract

Axiomatic Design Matrix(ADM) was complementary to Design Structure Matrix(DSM).Aiming at this characteristic,a coevolution mechanism between ADM and DSM was proposed.The internal coevolution mechanism of ADM and DSM was studied in particular,including coevolution steps and corresponding algorithms.A new concept named Composite Matrix(CM) was presented to bridge transforming a ADM into a DSM.Furthermore,a case study was given to illustrate the coevolution process between ADM and DSM.
