Abstract

The word kuishi means to peer.The ancients expressed this meaning with about ten words in the Pre-Qin Period and Han Dynasty Chinese.The differences among them were obvious.The semantic field of kuishi experienced the subrogation of internal elements during its development through the three stages of prophase,metaphase and anaphase of ancient times.
