Abstract
In order to have some general idea of formaldehyde pollution in indoor air in colleges in Shenzhen,formaldehyde concentration in indoor air was tested by using United Kingdom PPM HTV formaldehyde analyzer.The results showed that formaldehyde emission in 6 laboratories is 100% above the national standard,50% in 8 offices,20% in 2 conference rooms and 3 function rooms,and the emission in 5 classrooms meets the national standards.The paper also analyzed the sources of formaldehyde,factors affecting formaldehyde emission,and countermeasures for formaldehyde pollution.
