Effect of Early Exercise and Acupuncture Combined with medicine on Stroke Patients with Hemiplegia

Abstract

[Objective]To observe the effect of early exercise combined with acupuncture on stroke patients with hemiplegia.[Methods]50 stroke cases with hemiplegia were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group with 25 cases in eachgroup.All patients of two groups were treated by routine medication.The cases of treatment group were added with exercise and acupuncture.The limbs motor function of all patients was assessed before and after 1 month treatment.[Results]After treatment,the scores of Fugl-Meyer Assessment,Modified Bathel Index of all cases in the two groups improved obviously.But the effect of the treatment group was superior to that of the control group(P0.01).[Conclusion]Early exercise combined with acupuncture can improve the motor function of stroke patients with hemiplegia.
