Abstract

Objective To study preoperative psychological nursing intervention'ss influence on patients with anxiety undergoing LASIK. Methods Seventy-two patients undergoing selective operation for the first time were evaluated by using status-anxiety questionnaire and self-designed scale. The effect was evaluated 1 hour before operation and after intervention. Results All patients in the group had psychological anxiety. There was significant difference in worries about operative pain, failure of operation, preoperative insomnia, horror and postoperative sequela between before and after operation(P0.05). Conclusion The nursing intervention has important assist effect on relieving the psychic anxiety of patients undergoing operation.
