Abstract

Epigraphy makes up an important component of the Qing Dynasty's academy.Epigraphers have acquired a large number of ancient character documents in the course of studies.In addition,they realized its historical value,and also paid attention to its value of writing and art.Not only did they strive for exploring some important problems of characters in the course of creation and evolution,but show the rich connotation of calligraphy culture through artistic practice,which made adovating simplicitybecome the main stream of calligraphy style in the Qing Dynasty,and directly propelled other cultures closely relating with calligraphy culture forward.
