Abstract
This paper,based on the essence of sand desertification and its active and reactive relationship with the natural environment,points out the direction of the study on sand desertification,and then discusses the current situation of the study on the desertification indicator as well as the existing problems for the purpose of providing a theoretical basis for further study of desertification.
