Abstract
Objective: To summarize the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic diaphragmatic hernia. Methods: The clinical data of 17 cases treated for traumatic diaphragmatic hernia were analyzed retrospectively. Among the 17 cases,there were 12 cases of left diaphragmatic hernia and 5 cases right diaphragmatic hernia. 10 cases resulted from penetrating injuries and 7cases due to closed injuries. All of the 17 cases were operated.Results: 15 cases were cured and 2 cases died .Conclusion: Diagnosis can be maded by CT and radiography. Early diagnosis and timely operation are necessary to improve the cure rate ane reduce mortality.
