Effect analysis of telmisartan treating essential hypertension

Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical effect of telmisartan treating essential hypertension. Methods 138 patients with essential hypertension were divided into the treatment group(n=69) and the control group(n=69).The treatment group was treated with telmisartan,the control group was treated with amlodipine. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group(89.86%) was obviously higher than that in the control group(69.56%)(P0.05). Conclusion Telmisartan treating essential hypertension can significantly control blood pressure and improve patients' clinical symptoms,and it is worthy of clinical continual promotion and application.
