Abstract
Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of telmisartan in treating hypertension through randomly self-group contrast trial.Methods and results: 75 cases of bypertension were enrolled and took oral telmisartan for 4 weeks.Those cases with unsatisfactory effect took another compounded telmisartan for 8 weeks.The therapeutic effect and side effect of telmisartan was observed.The effective rate of tehmi sartan and compounded telmisartan was respectively 21.3% and 93.2%,No severe side effect and complications occured.Conclusion: Compounded telmisartan is effective in treatinent of hypertension.There was no severe side effect.
