Abstract

Stimulation on Chinese farmers' consumption needs has a significant role in expanding domestic need. Farmers' income growth stays slow, expected income remains unstable: these problems influence rural residents' consumption needs. This paper gives an analysis of the status quo and features of rural residents' consumption and probes into the main reasons why their consumption needs remain sluggish, hence the countermeasures.
