Effect of Health Education on Compliance of Patient in Mental Disorder

Abstract

Objective To explore effect of health education on compliance of patient in mental disorder.Methods 80 inpatients were randomly assigned to experimental group (n=40) and control group (n=40).Patients in experimental group were performed health education in collectivity; those in control group were adopted with routine explanations or answers for their questions. Questionnaire survey was conducted by phases in the two groups to compare the compliance and cognition condition.Results There were significant differences between two groups in the compliance (P0.01) and cognition (P0.05),respectively.Conclusion The application of health education in the patients is useful to enhance the cognition of related knowledge and the treatment compliance.
