The Approaches to College Education of Socialist Core Values:Based on the Perspective of Theory of Free and Overall Development for Human Beings

The theory of free and overall development for human beings functions as an indispensable part of Marxism.Free development refers to the freedom which gets rid of alienation and is conditionally based on overall development,while overall development means to occupy all-round essence of human beings through education.This theory has been the ideological guidance and core task for college education of Socialist core values in China,but such education is confronted with series of challenges,such as boring teaching,conflicts with the values of college students,complicated and volatile social environment and so on.Therefore,the author proposes several reasonable approaches to the solution of such problems,including moral education,reform in education,practice education,environment education,and idea education.
