On the Origin of Study of Confucian Classics in Hexi Region

Abstract
In Han Wudi's period,the education of Confucian classics got rapid development under the impetus of government,even in remote areas as Hexi.To the period of Five Liangs,the Confucian classics developed greatly.Generally,there are three origins of Hexi Confucian classics: transmission of such classics to this area with the immigrants in Han Wudi's period,scholars' attachment to DOU Rong in Hexi in two Han Dynasties,the family education of Confucian classics by nobles in Eastern Han Dynasty.
