Abstract
Government economics starts with a study of its market malfunction and focuses on the study of the governments' intervention in the national economy. Economic law aims at adjusting the relevant economic relations and is also a state law for intervening its economy. Government economics and economic law share the same historic origin, that is, the market malfunctions. The government's control of the market malfunctions, namely the government's intervention in its economy, constitutes the research objective of government economics and economic law. Though government economics and economic law are closely related, they have their similarities and differences which offer much revelation to both branches of learning.
