Abstract
The pretreatment of refractory-degraded organics of landfill leachate by Fenton reagent was investigated. The effects of pH value, ratio of H2O2/Fe2 +,Fenton reagent dosage, and reaction time on biodegradability and the removal efficiency of CODCr were studied respectively. The results showed that, when pH value was 3.0~4.0,H2O2/Fe2 + was 6∶1(mass ratio),H2O2 amount was 600 mg·L-1,reaction time was 2 h,the removal efficiency of CODCr hit 75.0%and the BOD5/CODCr raised from 31.9% to 53.6%.It indicated that biodegradability of landfill leachate could be improved effectively by Fenton reagent, while the outlet CODCr loading was decreased obviously.
