The Analysis of the Social Security of Migrant Workers and Their Integration into Urban Society

The integration of migrant workers into urban society has become the focus of academia and all levels of government.Based on the dynamic monitoring data of Hubei province in 2010,the paper analyzes the social security of migrant workers.With the help of econometric tools,the paper studies the influence of social security of migrant workers on their integration into urban society from the perspective of microeconomics.The result indicates that participation in medical insurance and unemployment insurance has a significant positive effect on migrant workers' integration into urban society.Besides,non-fixed term labor contracts for migrant workers also has a positive effect on migrant workers' integration into urban society.The level of integration into urban society is higher for those migrant workers having paid housing accumulation than those who don't.Living in low-rent housing has a positive impact on integration into urban society,however,it does not apply to migrant workers living in a house free of charge or rent one.
