Operative treatment of nasal polyps and sinusitis in patients with arrhythmia

Abstract

Objective:To study the possibility of nasal endoscopic surgery for nasal polyps and sinusitis in patients with arrhythmiˉa.Methods:712cases with nasal polyps and sinusitis from1995to2003treated by functional endoscopic sinus surgery in our hospital were anaˉlyzed retrospectively,in which48suffered fromarrhythmia.Results:48cases underwent nasal endoscopic surgery successfully,serious complication was not found.Conclusion:It is completely feasible for nasal polyps and sinusitis in patients with arrhythmia to perform nasal endoscopic surgery.
