Calibration of Three Hematology Analyzer by the Same Calibrated Fresh Blood

Objective To obtain identical results from three hematology analyzers and trace the measure to the international reference standard.Methods According to the hematology analyzer calibration criterion suggested by Society of Medical Laboratory of Chinese Medical Association,one fresh blood sample was determined in XE-2100 hematology analyzer calibrated by its calibrator,then it was used to calibrate Coulter Diff Ⅱ and Sysmex KX-21 hematology analyzers.Furthermore,20 random blood samples were tested in the three analyzers and the results were statistically calculated.Results The results in the three hematology analyzers showed no significant difference in statistics(P0.05).Conclusions The fresh blood calibrated can replace calibrator to calibrate different types of hematology analyzers.
