Abstract
In the first half of the 20th century, the bourgeois historians, like Liang Qichao and Qian Mu, when studying the academic history of Qing dynasty, tried their best to avoid sectarian bias, and attached importance to revealing various academic thoughts and internal relations of every school's rise and decline. In the later half, Marxist historians like Hou Wailu , with the theory and method of historical materialism, cleared and explored abundant ideological culture legacy of Qing dynasty's academic research. In the past twenty years, historical experts made objective appraise on Qing dynasty's learning, and open up many new domains. We should also behold that there are still some deficiencies in such study of this period. When facing this, we should inherit critically and do our best to make more brilliant success in the 21st century.
