Several Issues on Research and Application of the Gini Coefficient of China

At present, the countries or districts all over the world generally adopt the Gini coefficient which is acknowledged internationally as measurement standard to weigh whether income distribution in their own area is fair or not. Our country also pays close attention to the Gini coefficient of China while they study resideents'income distribution. However, a lot of problems need to research seriously while calculating and applying the Gini coefficient of China, which include how to know the function of the Gini coefficient correctly, how to improve calculational foundation and methods of the Gini coefficient, and how to apply and appraise the Gini coefficient accurately, etc. This article discusses the problems described a-bove.
