Carrying the College English Teaching Reforms Forward to Improve the Quality of College English Teaching

Abstract

In 2004,Hebei University of Science and Technology initiated the net-based,multimedia college english teaching reform,which is centered on developing students' learning autonomy.Through designing the individualized College English Teaching Syllabus and based on the multi-level teaching,a new teaching mode combined classroom teaching with net-based autonomous learning has been adopted,which helps to improve students' all-round ability to use English.
