Abstract
Aim: To study the differential diagnostic value of tumor markers CEA,NSE and CYFRA21-1 in serum and pleural effusion with united detection. Methods: There were 79 cases composed of 47 patients with malignant pleural effusion(malignant group) and 32 patients with tuberculous pleural effusion(tuberculous group) in this study. The content of CEA、NSE、CYFRA21-1 were detected with chemical luminescence immune analyzer, the content of TPS、sTNFR、TSGF were detected with terminal reaction of enzymology. Results: The content of TPS、sTNFR、TSGF、CEA、NSE、CYFRA21-1 in malignant pleural effusion were significantly higher than those in tuberculous pleural effusion(P0.05).The serum positivity rates of CEA in lung adenocarcinoma,NSE in small cell lung cancer and CYFRA21-1 in lung squamous cell carcinoma were 66.7%、90.0%、72.7% respectively.Difference was statistically significant(P0.05),the pleural effusion positivity rates of CEA in lung adenocarcinoma,NSE in small cell lung cancer and CYFRA21-1 in lung squamous cell carcinoma were 73.3%、100.0%、86.4%,difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion:The detection of CEA,NSE and CYFRA21-1 in serum and pleural effusion were of differential diagnostic value and can be used to assess histological types of lung cancer.
