Abstract
Objective:To study the value of detecting tumor marker carcinoembronic(CEA),neuron specific enolase(NSE)and sytokeratin fragment 21-1(CYFRA21-1)in pleural effusion. Methods: 65 patients with lung cancer and 28 benign controls were detected in serum and pleural effusion by electrochemiluminescence. Results: In serum and pleural effusion of lung cancer group, the values of tumor marker were significantly higher than that in control group(P0.01);levels of three indicators in pleural effusion were higher than that in serum(P0.01);the positive rates of CEA in lung adenocarcinoma,NSE in small cell lung cancer and CYFRA21-1 in lung squamous cell carcinoma were higher than any other individual(P0.05).Conclusion: Pleural effusion CEA,NSE,CYFRA21-1 detection is helpful for the diagnosis of lung cancer
