Abstract
In order to study the effect of extraneous ethylene on the growth and biochemical composition of Dunaliella salina, different concentrations of extraneous ethylene were added into the vegetative green cells. In this stage, cell density,β-carotene,chlorophyll and total soluble proteins contents were determined respectively. The results showed that cell density and β-carotene production with 0.05 mg/L extraneous ethylene treatment were 27.8% and 21.2% higher than those of the control.Chlorophyll and total soluble proteins contents of this treatment had no evident difference from those of other treatments and the control.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
