Abstract
Objective To investigate the Nogo-A expressions in mice after spinal cord injury. Methods C57 mice were divided into spinal cord injury group, sham group and control group.Samples were acquired at different time points(1 h,12 h and 24 h after injury) in each group.Immunohistochemistry was performed in each group. Results Nogo-A was obviously expressed in pericaryon and neuron fibers which had neurite formation. The number of positive cells of Nogo-A and intensity of immunoreactions were increased as the survival time prolonged after injury. Conclusion The expressions of Nogo-A were increased within 24 h after spinal cord injury, which will induce difficulty in nerve regeneration.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
