Clinical comparison of therapeutic effect of insulin glargine and pump for type 2 diabetes

Objective To use insulin therapy in patients with type 2 diabetes,daily use insulin glargine or use insulin pump therapy,compare the two schemes of curative effect and the risk of hypoglycaemia.Methods All of 40 patients with insulin treatment of type 2 diabetes patients were randomly divided into insulin glargine and insulin pump groups,and every 20 cases of insulin daily,morning at 8 o 'clock subcutaneous insulin glargine 1 times and use appropriate oral drug,insulin pump groups through continuous subcutaneous insulin pump use short-acting insulin treatment,eight weeks,observation and low blood glucose control conditions.Results After treatment,the two groups of FBG and 2hBG in four weeks,8 weeks were obviously decreased insulin pump,but declines in group a more groups,but the difference was not statistically significant(P0.05).More time than the group of hypoglycaemia insulin pump group(P0.05).Conclusion In the use of insulin in type 2 diabetes,the use of insulin glargine or use insulin pump,treatment can effectively control blood sugar,reduce use of HbA1c,but the insulin glargine hypoglycemia rate is low and treatment of patients with simple and convenient,compliance.
