Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of Baoxinkang(BXK) on isoprenaline( ISO)-induced acute myocardial ischemia( AMI).Methods Acute myocardial ischemia rats model was established by subcutaneous injection of ISO. Electro-cardiogram(ECG) was observed. Super oxide dismutase(SOD) activity, the contents of malondialdehyde(MDA) and lactic acid(LD)as well as lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) in the myocardial homogenate and creatine phosphokinase(CPK) were observed after ISO subcutaneous injection. Myocardial water contents were determined and pathological changes of myocardial tissue were observed. Results Compared with the model group,BXK(18、36 mg·kg-1)could significantly improve the ECG S-T segment elevation of myocardial ischemia in rats, increase SOD activity, decrease contents of MDA and LD and LDH. It could also decrease contents of CPK. BXK(18、36 mg·kg-1)could reduce myocardial water content and pathological changes of myocardial. The result has statistical significance. Conclusion BXK has therapeutic effect on ISO-induced myocardial ischemia injury.
