Abstract
The determination of formaldehyde in water by automatic static-headspace capillary gas chromatography is studied in this paper. The conditions of headspace has been tested and optimized, and the method for determination of formaldehyde in water by automatic static-headspace capillary gas chromatography is built. The result shows that the linearity is excellent in the range of 0 to 10.0mg/L,correlation coefficient is exceed 0.9990.Relative standard deviation(RSD) of samples is from 1.0% to 3.2%.Recovery rate of samples is from 94.7% to 104.0%.Minimum detectable limits(MDL) of formaldehyde is 0.69μg/L.The conclusion is that the method is a simple, sensitive, fast, accurate technique to determinate sulfite in sewage.
