Humanistic Medical Education is the Fundamentality of Cultivation of Qualified Doctors

Medical humanities education prominently demonstrates the medical humanities value, and helps to realize the basic objectives of medicine. It is very important, but has been seriously neglected. Based on the status of medical humanistic education, this article comes up with the conclusion that cultivation of humanistic spirit for medical students should be conducted from the following aspects. Firstly, humanistic quality of the teaching staff should be strengthened. Secondly, students should be nurtured with the humanistic spirit. Last but not least, the medical humanities education can be promoted by career awareness-building.
