Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of octreotide combined with nasogastric decompression tube on the inflammation markers and prognosis of early inflammatory intestinal obstruction induced by abdominal operation. Method The clinical data of 110 patients treated in our hospital for early inflammatory intestinal obstruction induced by abdominal operation from January 2011 to July 2014 were reviewed, according to the different treatments given, they were divided into two groups, each with 55 cases. Control group patients underwent nasogastric decompression tube for treatment, study group patients were given octreotide +nasogastric decompression tube for treatment. The clinical efficacy and prognosis of the two groups were observed and compared. Result After treatment, CRP, IL-6, and TNF-α levels of the two groups were significantly decreased, study group decreased more significant than control group(P 0.05, P 0.01). The symptoms improvement of the study group was better than control group, and the hospital stay of the study group was shorter than control group, both with statistically significant difference(P 0.05). Moreover, the incidence of adverse reaction of the two group showed no significant difference(P 0.05). ConclusionOctreotide combined with nasogastric decompression tube can actively improve the inflammatory markers and prognosis of early inflammatory intestinal obstruction induced by abdominal operation, which can rapidly alleviate the symptoms and shorten the hospital stay, thus it is worth clinical promotion and application.
