Abstract

Objective:To observe the curative effect,security and patients′ acceptance of moxibustion therapy in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) in acute stage.Methods:28 cases of AECOPD inpatients were taken suspended moxibustion at RN17 and DU14,where the patient felt comfortable and each acupoints took 10 minutes.Every patient were taken 1 times a day and the course of treatment was 10 days.Results:No one produced obvious adverse reactions,and all were willing to accept moxibustion.Compared before and after treatment,the chinese medicine symptom integral and breathing difficulties integral in patients got significant difference(P 0.05).Conclusion:Moxibustion is a meaningful adjuvant therapy for the treatment of COPD in acute stage.And the moxibustion smoke doesn't induce or exacerbate side effect of respiratory symptoms.
