Abstract
Objective To observe the treatment and significance of angiotensin Ⅱreceptor blockers and angiotensin conver ting enzyme inhibitors on the diabetes nephropathy. Methods 52 in-patients and out-patients with Ⅱ diabetes mellitus were randomly divided into losartan group and enalapril group. The patients in losartan group were treated with 50~100mg·d losartan. Another 26 patients were treated with 10 mg·d enalapril. The urine protein was measured by colorimetry and the blood urea nitrogen and creatinine by biochemical analyzer. Results After the treatment, the mean arterial pressure declined obviously in both groups(P0.05), but there was no significant difference between them. Both losartan and enalapril can decrease the level of urine protein in patients with diabetes mellitus, and there was no significant difference between them. Conclusion Losartan and enalapril can effectively decrease the level of urine protein in patients with diabetes mellitus.
