A Study on Comprehensive Reform of Higher Education under the New Normal

Higher education in China has transformed from elite education to mass education after a period of rapid expansion.Due to the population restrictions and challenge of social demand,higher education reform has become an urgent proposition of Chinese education. Higher education reform not only brings us challenges but also opportunities. China's entering into the New Normal demands transformation of higher education,at the same time it also provides new development opportunities. There is one way to achieve transformation or to grasp the opportunity of the new normal. That is to promote the comprehensive reform of higher education. We need not only change the pattern of higher education development,but also realize university governance structure modernization and improve teachers and students' enthusiasm. The purpose of this study,through higher education comprehensive reform,is to promote the New Normal of higher education development and realize sustained and high quality development of our country's higher education.
