Abstract

Activities of amylase,pepsin and lipase in stomach,hepatopancreas and gut of Scorturm barcoo were studied at four different growth stages: 30,70,120 d after hatching out and adult fish,the body weight were(2.29±0.49),(23.26±4.23),(88.06±6.73),(270.26±9.17),respectively.Results showed that with the growth of S.barcoo,the amylase activity was low at all stages,and it increased gradually in hepatopancreas,foregut and hindgut;pepsin activity in stomach increased gradually and remained stable after stage 3;the fat was mainly digested in the gut,lipase activity in foregut firstly increased,and then decreased,after that,lipase activity in midgut increased,which continue to digest fat.
