Abstract

Debate on Form vs.Content is a persistent aesthetic theory in the whole dynasty.Zhou Ang and Zhao Bing-wen put forward Emphasizing Content theory first and are against formalism.Wang Ruo-xu develops their theory and emphasizes on true emotion,natural expression,experience of one's own andin accord with the fact so by which he breaks the limit of the traditional theory of Writings are for conveying Ethics and morality.By the core conceptHonest,Yuan Hao-wen emphasizes knowing the basis,true feelings and advocates learning from the Tang Poets.Analysis of Form vs Content in Jin dynasty strongly influenced the aesthetic theories in the dynasties of Yuan,Ming and Qing.
