Abstract
Objective To discuss the clinical value of loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) in diagnosis and treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia of grade Ⅲ(CINⅢ). Methods There 130 outpatients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia of grade Ⅲ diagnosed by colposcopic multiple biopsy were surgicallly treated with LEEP between July 2003 and June 2005. Results The LEEP pathological results were accordant with the pathological ones of colposcopic multiple biopsy in 75 cases (57.7%). The cure rate was 99.0%, The recudescent rate was 0.9%. Conclusion LEEP is more reliable than colposcopic multiple biopsy in diagnosing CINⅢ,and is a safe and effective procedure for treatment of CINⅢ.
