Efficacy of Pantuoprozoleon in treatment of recurrent duodenal ulcer

Objective To observe effects of pantoprazoleon in treatment of recurrent duodenal ulcer.Methods Totally 109 patients with recurrent duodenal ulcer from May 2008 to May 2010 were randomly divided into two groups.The A group was treated with Omeprazole;the B group was Pantoprazoleon.Then the ulcer healing and adverse reactions was observed.Endoscopy and histological examination and rapid urease test were performed twice again on the patients with the ulcer healed 6 months and one year after so as to observe the recurrence rate.Results The general effective rate of B group(90%)was better than that of A group(74.8%).There was no significant differences between the two groups in the elimination rate of clinical symptoms and the rate of adverse reactions.The recurrence rate of ulcer in A group was higher than fhat of B group.Conclusions Pantoprazoleon has better effects in treatment of recurrent duodenal ulcer,and deserves further spread.
